Learn more about the perfect online class I discovered for my teen! Greg Landry Homeschool Science to the rescue!
One of the benefits of homeschooling is that you can customize the education of each of your children. Which means you can cater to their natural God-given talents and interests! As my kids have gotten older, I’ve begun to really notice what they are drawn to. And I’ve seen the innate flair they each possess. It has become quite fascinating, especially with my younger twins.
I received this product free of charge for review purposes and was compensated for my time. All opinions expressed in this post are my own and I was not required to post a positive review of the product.
While my older twins share a lot of the same interests, my younger twins are different – very different. One is quite brilliant academically and also when it comes to fixing things. He is a very curious kid who loves collecting broken electronics and machines to repair or repurpose.
In fact, every second Tuesday of the month, you’ll likely find him riding his bike around the neighborhood searching for “treasures” left on the side of the road for bulk trash day.
Doing well academically is never a problem for him as long as he puts a little effort into it.
On the other hand, his twin has to work really hard to excel academically and is a total jock! He loves athletic activities and is a total stud at every sport he participates in.
Right now, he has his mind set on playing in the NFL – and I believe he can do it!
Different Classes for Different Interests…
But, in the meantime, they are only 15 years old. I still have a few precious years left with them both at home with me!
As I began planning for the upcoming school year, I searched for appropriate courses. All while mindfully contemplating their interests and talents. Yes, they will both still take the normal math, science, English, history, etc.
But when it comes to electives, this is where the differences really come into play!
While my mechanical-minded son will be taking some computer science courses and coding classes, I just found the perfect classes for my sporty son! Here he is learning about Gatorade!
