Are you teaching the 23rd Psalm to your children or students? Download these FREE Psalm 23 Bible verse printables.
For those who follow my blog, you probably know we have used My Father’s World for many, many years. It is our primary homeschool curriculum!
When we cycled through Creation to the Greeks, I created printables to go along with the verses in the curriculum. Therefore, my kids have grown to expect the Bible verse printables (and copywork pages) for each of the verses!
I hope these FREE printables will be helpful to those using My Father’s World: Creation to the Greeks! So, I’m sharing the Psalm 23 Bible verse printable pages (aka mini posters) I created to go along with the curriculum.
But, even if you don’t use MFW, hopefully, the printables will be helpful to you as well!
What’s Included in the Psalm 23 Bible Verse Download?
There are two “sets” of Psalm 23 verses in the download. So, you can choose to use the page that features all of Psalm 23.
Or, you can choose to use the pages with the verses split up. This helps make memorizing more manageable:
Psalm 23:1-2 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
FYI – I used the same graphics for each page. This is to visually remind the student that the verses go together.
And, so that the student is to eventually memorize and recite Psalm 23 as a complete passage.
How We Used the Psalm 23 Bible Verse Printables:
I love having a visual display of the Bible verses that the kids are learning. Because I think visual reminders aid in the memorization process. Therefore, I printed the Psalm 23 Bible verse pages and posted them near our calendar board.
Another option is to create a Bible notebook where the child / student can keep all the verses together in one spot.
Please Note: These printables were designed for use by 2nd and 3rd graders using the My Father’s World CtG curriculum. Printables are shared with permission of MFW.
Coordinating Psalm 23 Copywork Pages:
I highly recommend that you pair the Psalm 23 printables (aka mini posters) with the Psalm 23 copywork pages I created. These copywork pages allow students to practice their penmanship as they copy the Bible verses. Plus, writing out the verses aids in memorizing the text! So, be sure to get the coordinating Psalm 23 copywork printables HERE >>
Psalm 23 Books:
So, if you’re learning Psalm 23, I figured having a few kid-friendly books could be helpful. Therefore, a few Psalm 23 Bible themed books are below for you to check out!
