History boring? Nope – not when you learn it by Trekking Through History with an exciting history board game designed for families!

Can I tell you a little secret? Growing up, I hated history. It was nothing more than a bunch of dates I had to remember for a test, which I promptly forgot. It wasn’t until I started homeschooling my kids that I realized how much I’d missed out on! I began to learn history right along with my kids – and it was absolutely fascinating!

That’s why I’m always searching for ways to make learning interesting, engaging, and FUN for my kids! And I’ve discovered a board game that does just that!

I received this product free of charge for review purposes and was compensated for my time. All opinions expressed in this post are my own and I was not required to post a positive review of the product.

Trekking Through History from Underdog Games invites you to travel through time to see marvels from around the world. You’ll experience incredible moments from our past as you race to meet legendary people and learn about remarkable events in history – all before the clock runs out!

It’s interesting! It’s engaging! It’s FUN!

Highlights of the Trekking Though History Board Game

Immediately noticeable, the game is gorgeous! My boys definitely don’t appreciate this nearly as much as I do. Although, my oldest son did chime in with how cool the game looked as soon as I set it up.

I especially love the History Cards. They are bright and exciting! It’s almost as if they bring that specific bit of history to life for the moments that you gaze at the card and read about the historical event or person!

Selected with extreme thought and consideration, the game features 108 historical events from around the world.

“We decided that we should focus on moments of beauty and inspiration that illustrate the best and most noble parts of us, and they needn’t all be “pivotal” in the greater narrative of history.”

~Underdog Games

In fact, the folks at Underdog Games worked with a team of experts to write the cards. So, there are lots of new things to learn and discover about the various historical events and remarkable people.

Using Games for Learning

I’m a big fan of using games that teach! I think kids learn best when they’re having so much fun that they don’t even realize that they’re learning at the same time.

Trekking Through History is not only interesting, engaging, and fun – it’s educational!

Plus, as an added bonus – there’s quite a bit of strategy involved in the game, which is great for my super competitive boys!

A fun game that actually teaches my kids? Yes, please!!

And that’s the best part – they’re learning history throughout the entire journey!

So, whether you’re looking to brush up on some history or you’re looking for an educational board game for family game night, Trekking Through History is the game you need! It is THE history board game you’ll want to add to your homeschool!

So, are you ready for your kids to begin trekking through history?
