Check out frog week for KJ! We actually did it in December…I am just now getting around to posting about it.

When KJ had her F is for Frog week with My Father’s World Kindergarten Curriculum, we compiled a lapbook for it; as we have done with all her other MFW units. All of our printables for the lapbook came from the Frog Lapbook on Homeschool Share.

We talked about the life cycle of a frog, the differences between a frog and a toad, the anatomy of a frog, and various other frog facts. Our words to remember were “I use my tongue wisely.” KJ had fun reading The Frog and Toad books. She even made Frog and Toad puppets on a stick so that she could reenact some of the stories we read! We also talked about the frogs that our neighbors have in their pond as well as the frog that we caught this past summer. Oh, and you just have to check out our cute little OREO frog snacks!

Here are some of the other books that we read during our frog week:

So, are you doing these out of order, or in the right order?
