The kids and I made these little Valentine holders using file folders. They were very easy to make and the kids had a blast working on them! KJ even made one for her doll!!!

All you need is a file folder, yarn, hole puncher, stickers, and an adhesive velcro dot (optional). Here are the steps:

1) Open the file folder and fold the bottom about 3/4 of the way up.

2) Fold the top down so that it overlaps over the bottom a bit.

3) Use a hole puncher to punch holes along the sides. Do not punch holes through the flap that you made. Let your little one use lace the yarn through the holes, but be sure to leave some extra yarns to hand the holder. HINT: Start lacing from the bottom and go up and around and back down the other side. Tie knots at the bottom of each side.

4) Decorate and add the velcro dot to close.

Hang it up and you’re done! This is great if you are pressed for time and need to get together a fast, fun, easy Valentine holder.
