Eraser Dot Rainbows

This was a fun little craft for the kids. It went along really well with KJ’s lessons on color and our Bible lessons about Noah along with the coordinating Noah’s Ark craft.

It was lots of fun and we had everything on hand. All you need to make eraser dot rainbows is paint (all the colors in the rainbow), paper, and pencils (with flat, unused erasers on top).

I used a pencil to draw light rainbow lines on the paper as a guide for the kids. Then, they dipped the erasers in the paint and dot painted along the guide lines using the colors of the rainbow. That’s it!!!!

I think Q-tips would work great. That way the child does not have to be concerned about pressing the eraser flat so that you get the complete circle impression. We actually used to use Q-tips quite a bit for painting. My 2-year olds really enjoy it!

I really like how these turned out! They must have a great attention span to be able to do this – Matthew would probably last through 1/3 of the rainbow. They did a super job! 🙂
