Looking for a math class for homeschoolers who don’t like math? Check out Greg Landry’s Life Prep Math courses – Geometry & Consumer Math!

Math. Some people love it. Others hate it. Math comes naturally to some students, while others would rather walk barefoot on burning hot coals than calculate the circumference of a circle. And, that’s okay. Because we all have our God-given strengths and talents. Therefore, I believe one of the most significant benefits of homeschooling is the ability to tailor our kids’ education to meet their individual needs.

Homeschool Math for Students who Don't Like Math

I received this product free of charge for review purposes and was compensated for my time. All opinions expressed in this post are my own and I was not required to post a positive review of the product.

That’s why I love Greg Landry’s Life Prep math courses for homeschoolers. They are specifically designed for “non-math” and “non-science” students!

So, if math just is not your kid’s thing, you can fulfill some of their high school math requirements without all the tears and frustration that may come from traditional math courses. Professor Landry’s “life prep” math courses are for two types of students:

  1. Homeschool students who do not plan to attend college, but still need to acquire math skills that will help prepare them for life. Hence the name “life prep.” Or,
  2. Homeschool students who may be going to college but do not plan to major in math or science.

Self-Paced Online Life Prep Math Classes

Greg Landry currently offers Life Prep Geometry and Life Prep Consumer Math – no math or science prerequisites required! Both courses are taught online. Enjoy class from the comfort of your own home OR take math with you when you’re on the go!

Each course covers two semesters of material. So, students earn a full school year credit upon completion.

Each recorded session provides about 20-30 minutes of instruction by Professor Landry, a 20-year veteran homeschool dad and former college professor.

And, while homework is suggested after each lesson, assigning and grading homework is left to the parent’s discretion.

The tuition cost registers the entire family. Therefore, multiple students from the same family can access the course for an entire 12 months!

Below are more details about each of the self-paced online math courses:

Life Prep Geometry Course:

Greg Landry’s online Life Prep Geometry course consists of 24 class recordings, 8 tests & answer keys (one for every three chapters), a final exam & answer key, and the online textbook.

The online textbook consists of seven parts – 7 pdf files covering 24 chapters for the entire course. View the textbook pdf files online or print them out – your choice. (Personally, I like having hard copies for my visual and kinesthetic learners.)
