My kids LOVE Grapevine Studies! In fact, it is one of the subjects that they actually ask to do! Yes, I get squeals of glee whenever I pull out our Grapevine notebooks! So, or course my kids were thrilled when they saw the Esther Grapevine study!
From Grapevine: Travel back in time with your children and teens as they study the book of Esther. Bible students will begin their in the ancient Persian Empire, as King Ahasuersus banishes Queen Vashti and begins a search for a new queen. Watch as a beautiful young Jewish woman named Esther becomes the new queen. Learn how God used the courage of Esther to save her people from an evil plot to kill them all. Discover how God used the creativity of Mordecai and Queen Esther to defend the Jews from Haman’s destruction. Finally, teach your students how the celebration of Purim became a yearly holiday! |
The Esther Study is a multi-level study that contains 9 weekly lessons with 32 daily lessons. The Student Book ($8.95 for eBook & $10.95 for a hard copy) includes lessons pages, timelines, memory verses, reviews and a map. The Teacher Book ($12.95 for eBook & $16.95 for a hard copy) contains lesson notes, timelines, stick figure drawings, a map, lesson goals, key points, memory verses, and review questions & answers. Can’t wait! We are very excited to “stick-figure” through the Bible some more! This school year we will be learning about and celebrating Biblical feasts. The Esther Grapevine study will tie in perfectly when we learn about Purim! Don’t you just love it when you can coordinate what you are learning and make it meaningful, memorable, and relevant all at the same time!
What I love most about Grapevine Studies: There are two main things that I absolutely love about Grapevine Studies!
1) All of my kids can work together on the lessons! I have found that I and the kids really enjoy when we are able to learn and work together! Plus, it means less work for me because I don’t have to teach different lessons to each of the kids!
2) The Teacher Book contain all of the info needed…right down to the pictures! For those of us who are not as artistically inclined, I really appreciate the fact that there are sample “stick-figures” for me to follow! Below is a sample page from the Teacher’s Book!

Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that this is your first year homeschooling!
Thanks for your question! My plan is to use The Creator Discipleship Curriculum for our daily Bible time. However, my kids really enjoy Grapevine Studies, so I like to add them in occasionally throughout the year when they are pertinent to our studies. So, around the time we start learning about Esther in MFW CtG we will add in the Grapevine Esther study on top of what we are already doing. So, that is my plan! Hopefully I was able to clarify things a bit for you! 🙂

Just curious.. I ordered The Creator bible curriculum after reading about it on your blog. Now you have me interested in these grapevine studies. 🙂 Are you planning on incorporating the 2 this year and if so, do you mind me asking how? This will be my first year to homeschool my 8 & 9 year old girls. We will be doing MFW ECC. Your blog is one of my favorites to follow. Thanks for all of your invaluable information.
