Yes, I do have a face!
I figured it was about time to make a real bio post. So, here is a bit more about me. My name is Jennifer (aka Mama Jenn). I am a Christian and I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I am striving to be a Proverbs 31 woman! I am happily married to my best friend who is a wonderful man who seeks the Lord with all his heart.
I am the homeschooling mama of five little ones; one girl and four boys. Our sole princess is 7 years old. All of our boys came in sets of two! My oldest set of twins is 6 years old and the youngest set is 3 years old.
I love spending time together as a family (all seven of us). The kiddos always keep us laughing! Prior to having children I was a high school math teacher. I have my BA in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Education. Prior to that, I played college basketball, though I now find it hard to believe! (I am tall…6’2″)
In my “spare” time I enjoy scrapbooking, though blogging seems to be taking its place. I currently have five main blogs. This (Mama Jenn) is my family/homeschool/craft/everything blog. Education Cubes features customizable learning blocks. The Homeschool Resource List is a collection of all the free online resources that I have found for homeschoolers. The “Brown Like Me” Book Review is a collection of books featuring “brown” characters. The Living Math Book List is a collection of living math books dividing up by math topics..
I used to be what you would call a perfectionist, though, having kids…many kids…has changed all that! I sometimes find myself longing for the days of complete organization and order. But, when I take a look at all those little faces, I can help but thank God for the chaos and disorder…though I am still trying to regain some sense of organization…stay tuned! {smile}
Well, that is me…a little more in depth!

Hi Jenn! I’m Julie, publisher of the Learn Your Christmas Carols blog. I’ve published lyrics and videos to nearly 100 different popular, traditional, funny and obscure holiday songs and had over 25,000 visitors. I’d like to include links to recipes, decorations and crafts this year, and am wondering if you have any content you’d like to contribute? The only requirement would be a link back in your sidebar or footer. I’m asking you because I found some good holiday content on your site that deserves a wider audience. If you’re interested, please email me at [email protected] or tweet me at http://twitter.com/juliegallaher

Hey jenn! It’s Michelle Diniakos. I just stumbled across your blog….I was reading homeschool creations and saw your little tiny picture and said, “hey, I know her! ” 🙂
I am so excited to have found it. You are doing some amazing stuff..don’t know where you find the time….and I can’t wait to delve into all of your resources. I just started homeschooling Levi this year.. He started kindergarten…and I love it! Hope all is well for you guys. Tell Reg Paul and I say hello. I am an educator as well. I have taught elementary school (Kindergarten, 1st grade) for 7 years. I have one daughter and plan to have more. I have no plans to homeschool, but I love your spirit. I often navigate homeschooling websites as they often have really cool hands on activities that I can do with my kindergarten students. I am not a big worksheet person, I think hands-on is more appropriate for little learners. I will be sure to navigate your other blogs.

Hi Lisa,
I would love for you to link to the “Brown Like Me” Book Reviews! That would be awesome!
Lisa
Hi! I ran across your “Brown Like Me” blog and wondered if it’d be ok if I linked to it? I administer a public library children’s blog in a small town, and have a blog roll (and other links) for my families on the blog. Sorry for the message here but I wasn’t sure how to contact you!
Mama Jenn
WOW, five boys including a set of twins! That is awesome! Thank you for your kind words! Glad you stumbled on my blog! 😉

I love your bio, I too am striving to be a Proverbs 31 Woman. I can already tell your blog is going to be an inspiration. I thank God for women such as yourself who put God and their families first. Be blessed.

Hi Sarah,
No worries! I just confirmed your payment and I will resend the email containing the login info. Please let me know if you don’t receive it within the next 10 minutes. Thanks!
Sarah
Jenn,
Help! I purchased the Education Cubes & signed up with your Education Cube site……but I missed place my login information! How do I go about re-setting it? I am soooo sad I can’t use it tonight. Oh well, patience is our class character trait this month…guess I have to have some patience!

Sorry, I no longer have our Thumb/Finger guards. However, I did come up with another solution…if you are interested: http://mama-jenn.blogspot.com/2010/05/no-more-thumb-suckers.html
Carla
I’ve been online researching, searching, pricing… these “Thumb guards” for a little girl of 5yrs, this product is very expensive. Of the two (only two!) I’ve found one is the “TGuard Brand ThumbGuard” $75 and the other “Dr.Thumb a child guard thumb” $50 and shipped from Korea. I’d like to find someone willing to sell their no longer needed thumb guard to me… Please! Carla
Mama Jenn
Thanks so much Tiffany!

Jenn! I’m so excited to have stumbled upon your blog. I have twin girls who are 5 and twin newborn boys. I’m a beginner when it comes to homeschooling, and I’m going to be scouring your site for tips on how to address the challenges of homeschooling two at the same time. God bless you for putting all these amazing resources out there!

Jenn, I really enjoyed this post! And you are stunning – really beautiful! (I already knew you were beautiful, but it’s nice to see that you are on the outside too!) You are a busy woman and I find a lot of inspiration from you and the love you have for your family. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. 🙂

Hi Mama Jenn! This is my 1st time visiting. You have a very nice blog. And thanks for sharing that picture of yours. Now we all know you have beautiful skin and skin color. Its funny because my oldest son (8yo)says that his dad’s skin color is brown. We are from Puerto Rico and here you find all different skin tones. But now that I look at you my dh isn’t brown, you are. He’s more like golden brown or redish brown, if this is a color. Anyway, Love your site. I’ll be borrowing your Color Wheel printable. It’s awesome!
Warmly,

Just stumbled upon your blog. I will be back to peruse it more in depth. I did a singleton, twins and another singleton. I also just have one girl but she is my youngest at 12 now. I love the idea of the fraction cups! Wow! Wish I had had that resource years ago. But we have made it. My oldest will graduate from homeschooling sometime this coming year. I have to become more computer savvy and make a new gmail account or a blog because I was an Abigail married to a Nabor who left this fall and took a lot of my passwords so I don’t mean to sign anyomously. Thanks! Thanks for your blog!
