Once my daughter was too big for many of her cute little socks, I decided to extended their use. Rather than getting rid of them, I saved them for matching. I have been doing “sock matching” with my kiddos for a long time now. All you need are some matching pairs of socks, preferably in different colors, styles, and patterns. Lay them out and let the kiddos get busy making matches. All of my kids love doing this, because once they are tired of makin’ matches, they like to pretend that it was raining socks! They all feverishly run around the room picking up as many socks as possible and chucking them in the air!

Hi Jenn
I am relatively new to your blog and have been busy checking out all of your resources you listed on your other blog. Wow, you have compiled such a comprehensive and fantastic list. Thank you so much for sharing these resources.
We are fans of sock matching here as well. My little girl loves to help me match up all the socks when I am folding the washing.

That is a great idea!! And at the very least, it keeps them busy for a few minutes so I might be able to pee in peace in the bathroom for maybe 10 seconds.
