Create a comprehensive Record of Time with this keepsake history timeline! Features a hard-cover notebook, 1,260+ timeline figures, and a placement guide!

I love the concept of timelines! They are a great way to put history into perspective. In fact, through our years of homeschooling, we have completed numerous timelines for our history studies. However, while I love the idea of using timelines, I have a few issues with our timelines.

My Problem with Timelines

First off, I have too many of them! Since none of them provide a clear, complete, comprehensive look back at history, we are left having to piece together historical events spread out over multiple different timelines from various different activities, projects, and curriculum packages. One timeline with everything would be MUCH more desirable!

Second, some of the timelines didn’t even come with all the pieces. We had to spend time searching online to find our own images, which was a huge pain. I don’t know about y’all, but I don’t have time for all that!

Third, when putting our timelines together, we didn’t really know what the “finished product” was supposed to look like. So, we often ran out of space or ended up with overlapping pieces. This is VERY frustrating to my perfectionist kid!

I received this product free of charge for review purposes and was compensated for my time. All opinions expressed in this post are my own and I was not required to post a positive review of the product.

The Best Timeline Solution…Period!

Don’t you just love it when you find exactly what you are looking for and it solves all your problems? The folks at Home School in the Woods not only solve my timeline dilemma, but they truly over-deliver!

Y’all, the Timeline Trio is the ULTIMATE in timelines! It solves every one of the issues I have with our current timeline situation! It includes a massive collection of timeline figures, a beautiful “Record of Time” timeline notebook, and a suggested placement guide for the timeline figures.

One Thousand History Timeline Figures

My days of scouring the internet for images to use for our timeline is OVER! The Timeline Trio comes with 2 CDs that include over 1,260 timeline figures to choose from.

In fact, you can even choose whether or not you want just want the corresponding date with each figure OR if you want descriptive text accompanying the figure and date!

And, as a frugal mom, I love that the timeline pieces are black and white. This is great for saving money when printing!

A Beautiful Timeline Binder

I no longer have a reason to try to hold onto all the other timelines we have compiled over the years because the Record of Time can contain it ALL! This is a beautiful, sturdy, hard-cover, horizontal, 3-ring binder with 100+ ivory cardstock pages that make up the timeline.

I am so smitten with the Record of Time because I can totally see it becoming a staple item in our history studies! Plus, it is truly a keepsake homeschool item!

Suggested Placement Guide for Timeline Pieces

Finally, no more running out of space for timeline pieces. No more trying to squeeze in pieces and having the words and dates overlapping each other! The Suggested Placement Guide is such a welcomed bonus for me (and my son that likes to have everything “just right”)!

I love that we can quickly peek at the guide to know exactly where to place the figures and what other pieces could potentially be placed on the page! Genius!

Loving Our New Timeline Solution

I told you, the Timeline Trio is the ultimate in timelines! Once you get this, you never have to buy another timeline! You don’t have to search the internet for timeline pieces! And, you don’t have to wonder if the pieces will fit and where on the page they should go!

I LOVE the Timeline Trio and I’m so glad that my kiddos will be able to get a MUCH better perspective into how historical events have shaped, led to, and caused other events in history. Teaching with timelines truly provides the canvas for studying history and how events intertwined with one another!

Home School in the Woods History Timeline Trio

Whether you are studying elementary, middle, or high school history, I would HIGHLY recommend that you invest in the Timeline Trio! I’m certain you will love it just as much as I do! (While you’re there, be sure to snag their free mini unit study on famous authors.)
