Looking for other homeschool families that look like yours? Check out this growing list of Black & African American Homeschool Bloggers!
When I first started homeschooling back in 2007, I didn’t know of many other homeschool families that looked like ours.
However, over the years I have watched the Black and African-American homeschool populations grow! More recently, I have discovered some Black and African-American homeschool bloggers as well!

And, that is what this page is all about. It is a growing collection of the Black and African American homeschool bloggers that I have discovered over the years.
My Need as a Black Homeschool mom:
When my daughter was small, I distinctly remember her opening up a picture book and making the following comment: “Mommy, she is brown like me!”
In that moment I realized how important it was for her to see people who looked like her in the books she read (which is why I started “Brown Like Me” Books).
I am finding the same to be true of myself. It has been beneficial for me as a homeschool mom to see other Black homeschool moms in real life and online!
