Apprehensive about teaching homeschool biology? Don’t be! Apologia equips the student to learn independently, making teaching easy for the parent!

I was convinced that I could not teach biology to my daughter. I figured my husband, the more science-minded of the two of us, would have to take on that responsibility. However, with his work schedule, that was practically impossible.
Teaching homeschool biology was going to become my responsibility and the thought of conducting dissections just seemed so intimidating!
Sure, I took Biology in high school. I even went on to take AP Biology. But the idea of leading a dissection still freaked me out a bit!

Since I was still apprehensive about the dissection part, I enrolled her in a class at our co-op that did all of the Apologia Biology labs together.

However, when my oldest twins were ready for Biology two years later, I opted for the corresponding Apologia Biology lab kit!
It was great! My boys had everything they needed to perform the dissections, including step-by-step instructions and ALL of the materials and specimen!
Therefore, I was able to stand back and simply snap photos as they used their scissors and scalpel to perform their frog dissection!
