Homeschooling is a lot more technology-based than when I initially started teaching my kids. I don’t know about yours, but my kids are always on the computer for their schoolwork these days. And it’s not just researching on the web and writing papers. It’s math lessons. Spanish tutoring. Audiobooks. Online instruction. Music production, etc. And, all of this is great, except when everyone is doing it all at the same time in our school area.

I’m still homeschooling multiple kiddos. So, imagine how loud and distracting it can be when one has his math lessons playing. The other is practicing his Spanish online. Durability Matters

I’m homeschooling boys. Let’s just say they are not the most gentile creatures. Things seem to easily turn up broken when placed in their care. We’ve been through lots of different headphones that just did not last.

After a week or so, the earphone part would break off. The sliding adjustment stopped sliding which meant the headphones stopped gripping their head. Within a month, the material covering the earpiece would start peeling off. The frayed cord would somehow stop working and we could only hear through one of the earphones.

When it comes to headphones, you name it, we’ve experienced it. Now, I don’t know if it’s just my boys or if we have just had some really, really poor-quality headphones in the past.

But, that’s why I thoroughly appreciate the durability of the AVID headphones and headsets! They are boy-mom approved!

With my kiddos, durability is key. However, being cost-efficient is important to me as well! I don’t want to break the bank with a super expensive pair of headphones.
