Use the FREE Astronauts to Earth printable game boards to practice colors, numbers, & shapes! Pair with Education Cubes for even more FUN!

When my boys were little, they loved learning about space. Spaceships. Rockets. Astronauts. Planets. The moon and stars! They were intrigued by everything space-related!

So, I decided to make a special space-themed game board to go along with our Space unit. I call it, Astronauts to Earth!

The Astronauts to Earth downloadable PDF file includes five different game boards to help reinforce the following concepts: numbers, colors, and shapes.

You can use the two blank game boards to fill in any information that you would like!

Astronauts to Earth Choose Game Boards

What you need to play the games:

You need three basic items to play the games – the gameboards, a writing utensil, and dice.

But, I’ll be more specific so that you know exactly what we used and how we played the games.

First, here are the supplies we used:

  • Astonauts to Earth game board (scroll to the end of the blog post to download)
  • dry erase markers
  • Education Cubes (with the Spaceship Color insert cards)

Astronauts to Earth Game Set-up Instructions:

Now, I don’t like to waste money, especially when it comes to printables for the kids.

Therefore, to save on ink and paper, I laminated the game board so that the boys could reuse it as many times as they’d like.

If you don’t have a laminator, you could slide the game board into a page protector.

Once I laminated the game and slid the Spaceship Color insert cards into our Education Cubes, it was time to play!

How to Use the Game Boards:

The games are super easy to play. Roll the cube or dice and mark off the appropriate cloud beginning at the respective spaceship.

Continue marking off clouds until all the astronauts get back to Earth (i.e. all of the clouds are marked off.)

Super simple – but super fun for little learners!
