Sticky Buns!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been out of town (which partially explains the lack of blog posts). I had the pleasure of being able to go with my husband on a business trip (without the kids…of course) and I was able to spend a few glorious days in a hotel!

I didn’t have to cook. I didn’t have to feed anyone {except myself}…which I did ALOT of!  [For some reason food that I don’t have to make tastes so much better!] LOL  I didn’t have to clean anything. I didn’t have little munchkins coming in my room at 3am asking to sleep in the bed with me. I didn’t have a real schedule. I just laid around, watched TV, used the computer, and enjoyed not HAVING to do anything!

So, now I am back home and reality has hit…hard! There is laundry to be washed. There are rooms to be cleaned. There are lunches to be prepared. There are lesson plans to be completed. There are bags to be filled. ..

…and all I can think about are these absolutely amazing sticky buns!!!!!!!!! I am thinking my time would be much better spent if I whip out a batch of them and surprise the kids in the morning…after I eat a few tonight…of course! LOL

What do you think?!?!?!  🙂

Hey, I have that recipe! I got it from AllRecipes a long time ago and it is our absolute favorite (and I don’t use a bread machine). But, the fact that you make them the night before and let them rise in the fridge overnight – oh, my stars, I must do that tonight!! The kids will love me for it (hubby would too except he leaves far too early in the morning for me to actually get out of bed ahead of him). Thanks for the idea!

Oh my gosh Laura!!! I NEVER thought about freezing them! What a GREAT idea! Though, having sticky buns available to me at any time could be dangerous!!!!! LOL Oh, the joy!!!!!!!

I have this same recipe and love it and can you believe my son and I were talking about making them this morning! Must be that time of year to crave them. They are super easy and I will be making them to give away as gifts. To make the icing easier I include a tub of Betty Crocker cream cheese icing. They can stick the buns in the freezer and use anytime. What a treat!

Yuuuummmmmmm! My husband makes some scrumptious cinnamon rolls, but these look divine!! I might have to pass along the cream cheese frosting part to him! 🙂

Oooh, they look and sound so yummy! I don’t have a bread maker but it should be simple enough to adapt the recipe… I can’t wait to try them out.
