I have discovered that one of the benefits of blogging is that in some strange kind of way, it helps to hold me accountable. If I blog about doing something, I am more likely to make sure that it gets done…which is why I have decided to start up Mama’s Mission of the Month.

Mama's Mission of the Month

Basically, I will post about what I want to accomplish for that specific month. The following month I will post about my accomplishments and what I plan to get done the upcoming month. This is really a means of holding myself accountable so that I can get more things checked off of my never-ending-to-do-list! However, you are all more than welcome to join in with me!

Mission of the Month Link-up Instructions:

Around the 1st of each month I will share my Mission of the Month post for the current month. Simply leave a comment on THAT post (not this post) that includes a link to YOUR Mission of the Month post. The rules are simple:

  1. Be sure to comment and include the link to your Mission of the Month post and NOT your home url. Please note that I manually approve all comments.
  2. Include a link back to my site within your post. Or, you could use the graphic code below!
  3. All missions MUST be clean. I will not approve comments that link to inappropriate missions.
  4. Visit other participants/commenters and to encourage them in getting things done!

Your mission can be as big or as small as you would like it to be…just be sure that it is something that you can realistically accomplish! Now, I must be clear, this is meant to encourage you to accomplish some of those things that you may not have otherwise accomplished. This is NOT intended to bring condemnation of any sort! If you don’t accomplish your mission…no worries…give it a shot the following month.

So, if you want to join in, go ahead and decide what you want to accomplish for the upcoming month and get your Mission of the Month post together. To help keep track of your accomplishments, consider downloading my FREE Monthly Checklist!

My mission of the month was to take a break from homeschooling my (just turned) 3 year old. Get some relaxation and rest and purchase and prepare new materials to get back to homeschooling for the new year

Hi Christie!!! If you use the html code, it will create the button that you see above it. The button (when clicked) will link back to my blog. So, if you just add the button in your Mission of the Month post, it will link back automatically for you. However, when I post the very first actual Mama’s Mission of the Month post tomorrow, there will be a linky at the end of the post. You will be able to link YOUR Mission of the Month post up to it by using the URL of your Mission of the Month post. Does that make sense? If you are planning to participate, it may be helpful to see what it looks like tomorrow. If you have trouble, let me know and I will try to help out! 🙂

How do you link back using the code? Is it a link, picture, etc??

Don’t have a blog but my mission for the next month is to invetory my house and books so that we have documention for insurance purposes. All this will be documented o a software I got free online for the household invetory and purchased at a nominal cost for the books. Great idea.
