Must Have Homeschool Supplies

As a homeschool mom with 10+ years of homeschooling under her belt, there are a few supplies that are must-haves for our homeschool. We use or buy these exact same items year after year…without fail!

Now, don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of other items that I use and “must have” for our homeschool, but the items listed below are “special”…as in I buy or use these exact items/brands year after year!

For example, we need white printer paper every year. But, I’m not picky about any particular brand. However, pencils…that’s a different story. I only buy one kind every single year!

***My most used tool is listed at the very bottom! I never want to homeschool without it again!

My Must-Have Homeschool Supplies:

Ticonderoga Pencils ~ These pencils are great for my kiddos! They write well and most importantly, the erasers don’t fall off! I buy a box of these each school year!

 

Pencil Cap Erasers ~ These are the best pencil cap erasers ever! They are SO MUCH better than the cheap ones I used to buy. These stay put on the pencil and they do crumble up when you use them.

 

FriXion Erasable Pens (Color) ~ Y’all, these pens really are erasable and they come in such fun colors! I LOVE these pens! So does my daughter! They are especially useful when she’s taking notes. Her ideas are divided by color AND he doesn’t have to cross out mistakes because she can simply erase!

 

FriXion Erasable Pens (Black) ~ I used to use mechanical pencils all the time so that I could just erase my mistakes. But, now I keep tons of these pens on hand and I use them all the time…because they are erasable! I absolutely LOVE these pens!

 

ProClick Binding Machine ~ I use this gadget to spiral bind everything that I justify binding! I use it to bind my kid’s notebooking pages. I use it to bind my blogging planner. If it can be bound, chances are I have put a binder on it! I am so glad that I invested in the ProClick Binding Machine, but I no longer have to go to my local office supply store and pay them to bind things for me! I can do it myself…at home! LOVE IT!

 

ProClick Binding Spines ~ These spines are used with the ProClick Binding Machine shown above. They come in various different sizes, depending on how many pages you are binding. I bind so many things that I have purchased the spines in all the sizes available! I even purchased the 110 page capacity spines in bulk!

 

Scotch Laminator ~ I have had this laminator for YEARS! In fact, I’ve been using mine so long that they have since updated the style. I laminate EVERYTHING!!! And, it is so easy to do! Plus, it beats having to go to the office supply store to have it done!

 

Laminating Pouches ~ When you laminate as much stuff as I do, you are bound to need more laminating pouches. I have found these to be not only durable, but very cost effective compared to the Scotch brand of pouches.
