Library closed? Audible is always OPEN! Download audio books for kids of all ages! Plus, check out this amazing, FREE deal from Audible!
With the Coronavirus pandemic requiring us to shelter-in-place, the libraries around us have all closed. Initially, they were allowing patrons to place books on hold online and pick up the books curbside. They even quarantined newly returned books for 72 hours and disinfected books before they were checked out.
However, the libraries around us are now completely closed. No books in and no books out. Fortunately, I grabbed most of the books we will need to finish out our school year. But, I didn’t really think about “fun” books for the kids to read. That is where audiobooks can come in really handy…especially now that I have no library access!
Plus, currently (as of today, April 16, 2020) Audible (the world’s largest producer of digital audiobooks) is offering FREE audiobooks for kids to help out during this uncertain time! Yes, completely FREE!!! No signup required! You don’t even have to enter an email address!
Yep, you read that right!
For as long as schools are closed, we’re open. Right now, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.” -Audible website
