…you find these little guys neatly stashed away in a baggie in the kitchen cabinet

013

…and you actually contemplate whether or not to pack them up and bring them along to your new home

…just in case you ever get around to learning about flies

…and there don’t happen to be any where we are moving to.  Smile

Ugh…I have too much stuff!!!!

HAHA!! I found a few flies, bees and just found all the owl pellets too.

At least I threw the dead bird in my freezer out awhile ago!

    We are definitely homeschool moms!

Oh yes my friend, those are real, dead flies…that decided to visit inside my home and came to their unfortunate death via fly swatter!

    Jennifer,

So funny, because we have actually done that! The frog was dead and flat (someone must have drove over it). We brought it home and the kids played with it and tried to get it to swim in some water…guess it is a homeschool mom thing!

HA!HA! The other day I saw a dead frog on the side of the road and I seriously thought about taking it home for the kids since we were learning about amphibians. Then i thought to myself…ewww, gross! I never would have even considered that for a moment if I was not a homeschool mom! 🙂

We live in SC and when we moved I found a dead mama (we think) and several baby scorpions in the ziplock bag drawer. We kept them and added them to our collection.

YOu make me laugh! True confession time–I have a dead fish in my basement–all packaged up, of course. It came with a bunch of other disection animals for my son’s Biology class, and then he ended up doing the fish disection with a friend, so shared their fish. SO–I have not been able to bring myself to throw it away, and haven’t found another homeschooler who needs a dead fish! The things a homeschool mom does for the education of her children…..
