The Hows and Whys of Homeschool Conventions
Attending a homeschool convention as a family can be a lot of fun, especially if you decide to take in the local attractions and make the convention trip a family field trip as well! The internet makes finding field trip opportunities quite easy! Simply google “local attractions” and the name of the city you will be visiting.
For example, Great Homeschool Conventions currently has four convention locations. By using a few simple google searches, I was able to find lots of amazing field trip opportunities near each of the locations! And, to save you a bit of time, I have listed some of the field trip opportunities here!

A big thank you to Becky R. for emailing me about the Creation Museum (http://creationmuseum.org/). She says it is located in Kentucky, but a Cincinnati suburb!!!
