I love reading books to my kids and then tying in learning activities and crafts based on the books. In case you don’t already know, that is exactly what I do for my “Once Upon a Book” posts over on Totally Tots.
Two of our favorite Christmas books are Mortimer’s Christmas Manger and The Pine Tree Parable. I love the unique way that both of these stories address the true meaning of Christmas!

I just checked out this book the other day 🙂 I was showing Jason how to look for the christmas trees on the spine of the book and this was the one he picked out. Very cute. (nice.. I just saw your link to activities. Jen, you are one organized Momma!)
