In my opinion, you just cannot go wrong with wooden blocks. The possibilities are virtually endless! So, needless to say, we were thrilled to receive a box of both Crystal Bead Blocks and Shimmering Water Blocks from Guidecraft! The Rainbow Blocks were a HUGE hit and I just KNEW the kids would love adding these to their collection…and boy was I right!
The Bead and Water Block sets each include 8 blocks (4 rectangles and 4 half circles) made from sturdy hardwood. The Bead Blocks are filled with small, colorful plastic beads encased in acrylic. The Water Blocks are filled with colorful, glittery water, also encased in acrylic.
My little guys were intrigued with the water…
…and the beads! They worked hard to strategically try to get all of the beads to lay in a single layer!
We sorted and stacked them by color.
We used some letters to spell words inside them.
We made a track and drove cars along them.
And of course, they had fun building!
We love blocks and these were a great addition to our collection! Thank you to Guidecraft for yet another awesome product!
