It’s that time of year again.
Back-to-school pictures are popping up everywhere, and recently I saw my sister posing with her kids for their first day back to school.
And that’s when it hit me…
I had absolutely nothing to do.
After 19 years of homeschooling, I had no curriculum to purchase.
No lessons to plan.
No copies to make.
Nothing to laminate.
No school supplies to organize.
No kids to take cute first-day-of-school pictures with.
Well… apparently I had plenty of time to make first-day-of-school printables! 😂
For nearly two decades, this time of year meant getting ready for another year of learning together. And now, my kids are grown, graduated, and doing their own thing.
It’s a little strange.
And the funny thing is, I don’t even remember taking those posed first-day-of-school pictures when my kids were younger. I’m sure my memory is failing me, but I honestly don’t recall ever doing it!
Still, seeing my sister’s pictures brought on a little nostalgia. And with my newfound extra time, I decided to create some First Day of School printables… for you!

I made these simple printable signs for just about every stage of school, including:
