Welcome! I’m Jenn.

I’m so glad you’re here.
Whether you stumbled across a printable, a curriculum review, a book list, or one of my homeschool resources, I hope you leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and a little more confident in your homeschool journey.
That’s why Mama Jenn exists.
A little about me…
I’m a former high school math teacher who traded a classroom of forty students for the five who sat around our homeschool classroom.
My husband and I spent nineteen years homeschooling our five children (including our daughter and two sets of twins boys) from the early years all the way through high school graduation.
Along the way, our kids took dual-credit classes, were accepted to outstanding colleges, and each went on to compete in NCAA Division I athletics.
Those accomplishments make me proud, but they aren’t what I value most.
What I treasure most are the years we spent learning together – the conversations around the table, the books we shared, the projects we built, the field trips we took, and the freedom to tailor each child’s education to the way God created them to learn.
Those years shaped our family.
They also shaped everything you’ll find here at Mama Jenn.
Why I created Mama Jenn:
When we first started homeschooling, I was constantly creating things for our family.
- Notebooking pages.
- Games.
- Hands-on activities.
- Planning pages.
- Book lists.
- Math ideas.
- Curriculum supplements.
Sometimes I couldn’t find exactly what we needed. Other times I wanted something that worked just a little differently.
So I made it.
Then I started sharing those ideas online in case they might help another homeschool family, too.
What began as a handful of printables gradually grew into a library of resources used by homeschooling families around the world.
Today, Mama Jenn is still built on that same simple idea:
I create and recommend the kinds of resources I used – or wish I had used – with my own family.
What you’ll find here:
Over the years, the website has grown into several “rooms,” each designed to help homeschool families in different ways.
🏠 HOMESCHOOLING – Curriculum reviews, planning ideas, encouragement, organization tips, and practical advice from nearly two decades of homeschooling.
📄 PRINTABLES – Free and premium notebooking pages, planners, educational games, and printable resources organized by topic.
🌎 MY FATHER’S WORLD – Planning helps, notebooking pages, and supplemental resources created specifically for My Father’s World families.
✋ HANDS-ON LEARNING – Simple activities, games, crafts, and creative ideas that help learning more fun, interactive and engaging.
🟥 EDUCATION CUBES – Interchangeable learning cards that transform simple photo cubes into engaging educational activities.
➗ LIVING MATH – Book lists and ideas that make math meaningful through great children’s literature.
🤎 “BROWN LIKE ME” – Picture books and educational resources that celebrate Black history, culture, and representation while helping children see themselves reflected in the pages they read.
🏈 HOMESCHOOL ATHLETE – Resources and practical guidance for homeschool families raising student-athletes from youth sports through the college recruiting process.
My hope for you:
I don’t believe there’s only one “right” way to homeschool. Every family is different. Every child is different.
My goal isn’t to convince you to homeschool exactly like we did. It’s to share what we’ve learned so you can build a homeschool that fits your family.
If one printable saves you time…
Or one curriculum review helps you make a confident decision…
Or one activity sparks a love of learning…
Then this website has done exactly what I hoped it would do!
Thanks again for stopping by.
I’m grateful you’re here.
❤️ Jenn
