How The My Father’s World Printables Came to Life

When we started Kindergarten with My Father’s World, one of the early assignments involved making alphabet badges with the Words to Remember – one for each letter.

We tried them. But they just weren’t us.

Instead of pinning a small paper badge to a shirt for the day, I turned the Words to Remember into simple craft-style copywork pages.

By the end of the alphabet, my daughter had a handmade portfolio filled with the Bible-based lessons she had written and learned.

That small change started something I never planned.

As we continued through My Father’s World with all five of my children, I kept creating extra pages to help reinforce what they were learning – copywork, notebooking pages, geography sheets, Bible verse printables, science observation pages, and more.

Before I realized it, I had created over 1,400 pages of supplemental printables to use alongside the curriculum.

Not to replace it.

But to reinforce it, organize it, and preserve what my kids were learning.

Some of those pages I shared on my website over the years.

Many of them I never made it onto the blog.

Created and Used in a Real Homeschool

The My Father’s World printables in this bundle were created gradually while teaching my own five children through the curriculum over several years.

Over time I added extra copywork, notebooking pages, and reinforcement activities that worked well alongside the curriculum.

These printables weren’t created all at once.

As my children grew, I often refined the pages to work better for different ages.

For example, some copywork pages include primary handwriting lines for younger students, while others use standard notebook lines for older students, making the printables flexible enough to use across multiple grade levels.

Many of these pages were also used more than once as our family cycled through the curriculum again, giving me the opportunity to improve and adjust them based on what worked best.
