The Way Home DVD {Review & Giveaway}

imageWhen I saw the trailer for The Way Home, I knew right away that I wanted to see it and I am thrilled to be able to review and host a giveaway for it!

The Way Home is a family friendly movie (rated PG for brief tobacco use) that will stir up a gamut of emotions for any parent! It is an inspiring, true story about how a rural community rallied together to help a family search for their missing son.

More About the Movie: Dean Cain (“Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”) stars as Randy Simpkins, a husband and father torn between the demands of his job and commitment to his family. Asked by his wife Christal to watch their two-year-old son Joe for a few minutes, Randy is distracted by work and Joe disappears. Racked by guilt, Randy joins Christal in a desperate search for their missing son alongside hundreds of others from their church and community. Randy and Christal’s strained marriage must now weather the ultimate test—the potential loss of a child. The Way Home is the story of Randy’s powerful spiritual journey back to love, faith and a Godly understanding of what must always take first priority in a man’s life—his family. My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this movie. I pondered. I questioned. I reflected and I cried…A LOT! (May I suggest that you have a box of tissues nearby when you watch this movie!) I cannot begin to imagine the thought of losing one of my children! This movie will definitely impress upon you the importance of making sure your priorities are in order as well as restore your faith in the goodness of people! I will definitely be recommending this movie to my friends!

    i would looove to win this! my husband and i have not been out of the house without our four children since may of ’09, so our only “dates” are at home after the kids go to bed.
