Download FREE Old Testament books of the Bible printables & copywork pages designed to supplement the My Father’s World CtG homeschool curriculum.
If you’re looking for some Old Testament books of the Bible printables, you’ve come to the right place! I originally created these books of the Bible worksheets as part of our studies in the My Father’s World Creation to the Greeks homeschool curriculum. However, they can be used by anyone wanting to learn the Old Testament books of the Bible. Simply download and print the files!
What’s included in the Old Testament printables?
The Old Testament books of the Bible printables are divided into the five groups:
- The Pentateuch: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Number, Deuteronomy
- The Historical Books: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, I & II Samuel, I & II Kings, I & II Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther
- The Poetic Books: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs
- The Major Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel
- The Minor Prophets: Jose, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zechariah, Malachi
Each page of the download features one of the five groups and lists all the Old Testament books of the Bible that are part of that corresponding group. Plus, there are two sets of downloads.
Set 1: Old Testament Bible of the Bible Printables
The first set of printables simply lists all of the Old Testament books of the Bible in each of the five groups. This is helpful for review purposes! It’s like a poster that can be used as a visual reminder of the Old Testament books of the Bible and which group they belong to.
Set 2: Old Testament Books of the Bible Copywork Pages
The second set of pages to download are copywork printables. These are designed to help work on penmanship. There is one page for each of the five groups. Simply copy the Old Testament books on the primary lines provided.
Memorizing the Books of the Bible:
Need some help memorizing the books of the Bible? I have found that they best way for us to memorize the books of the Bible is through music! We personally have and use the Wee Sing Bible Songs CD, but I’m thinking my kids would have really liked the Books of the Bible Rap! Here are some more Bible tunes that you can use to help with memorization:
What’s the Old Testament Really About?
If you’re studying the Old Testament, you definitely want to check out my all time favorite Old Testament resource, the What’s in the Bible DVD series! (Volumes 1-9 are all about the Old Testament.)
My kids LOVED watching these! Truth be told, I loved watching these too! The DVD series walks you step by step through the Bible in a way that even a child can understand!

ACK!!! Thanks for the correction! I just checked and the page is loading fine on my end. Perhaps you should try refreshing the page or making sure that you are using the most recent version of Adobe Reader. Once you are on the Bible Printables page, there are download links beneath the graphics for the printables. Hope that helps!
Hello! I appreciate you sharing these. I have, however, encountered a problem. Don’t know if it is my end of the computer or not. When I click on the Bible Printables link, I get a page with “BIBILE (mispelled) PRINTABLES”, but then the page is blank? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
you are such a blessing! Thank you so much for sharing!!
