I originally created these books of the Bible worksheets as part of our studies in the My Father’s World Creation to the Greeks homeschool curriculum. However, they’re usable for anyone needing Old Testament Bible copywork printables. Therefore, all you have to do it just download and print the files!
What’s included in the Old Testament Copywork Files?
The Old Testament books of the Bible copywork pages are divided into five groups:
- The Pentateuch: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy
- The Historical Books: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, I & II Samuel, I & II Kings, I & II Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther
- The Poetic Books: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs
- The Major Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel
- The Minor Prophets: Jose, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zechariah, Malachi
Old Testament Bible of the Bible Copywork
There is one page for each of the five groups. Therefore, each page of the download features one of the five groups and lists all of the Old Testament books that are part of each corresponding group.
These are designed to help work on penmanship. So, students simply copy the Old Testament books on the primary lines provided.

Memorizing the Books of the Bible:
Need some help memorizing the books of the Bible? I have found that the best way for us to memorize the books of the Bible is through music! We used the Wee Sing Bible Songs CD, but I’m thinking my kids would have really liked the Books of the Bible Rap! Here are some more Bible tunes that you can use to help with memorization.
