Great Homeschool Conventions has sponsored this post. I am compensated for our partnership. All opinions expressed are my own.

GHC Vendors

I am giddy at the very thought of homeschool conventions, especially now that I have learned from my first timer mistakes!

I enjoy meeting fellow bloggers. (Be sure to follow GHC on Facebook and Twitter for updates on the blogger meetups planned for OH and SC.)

I really enjoy hearing all of the great speakers and gleaning from their experience and knowledge.

What I Love Most…

But, what I love most about homeschool conventions are the exhibit halls. I can (and will) peruse the isles for hours browsing at all of the vendors! I’m like a kid in a candy store; I just can’t help myself! There is just something exhilarating (sometimes slightly overwhelming, but exciting none-the-less) about being in a large room full of tons and tons of curriculum to pore over!

Vendors I MUST Visit…

While there are lots of booths full of curriculum that I plan to check out, this year I am really looking forward to visiting a few vendors in particular!

1) Apologia: After hearing Rachael Carman speak and meeting some of the Apologia team, there is no way that I can not visit their booth. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Besides, we absolutely LOVE the What We Believe series!

2) My Father’s World: We have been using My Father’s World for almost 6 years now, and plan to continue using it for years to come! I enjoy being able to visit the booth and scan the pages of the books in the upcoming curriculum. It’s exciting to get a sneak peak at all of the fun we will have learning in the upcoming school years!

3) Zeezok: I discovered Zeezok this school year and I’m so glad I did! We absolutely LOVE the Zeezok composer studies. Their hands on learning approach suited us; so much so that I am intrigued about what other curricula they have to offer!

4) WriteShop: We just started using WriteShop this school year and my kids love it; I mean LOVE IT! We are using Book D for my three older kids. However, I am looking forward to getting my hands on the Primary level books to see if they will be a good fit for my younger twins.

5) Usborne Books: I just adore Usborne Books! I appreciate the quality of the books and I thoroughly enjoy looking at all of the book selections that they have to offer! We already have quite a few Usborne books and I definitely would not mind adding to our collection! I don’t think my kids would mind either! {grins}

Are you excited too?

Do you get excited about exhibit halls too? Will you be attending one of the Great Homeschool Conventions? If so, which vendors are on your must-visit list?
