"Worms in My Apples" File Folder Game {Counting}

This was a rather slow week for us. Hence, I feel like I don’t really have much to post about for Preschool Corner. But, the highlight was this new file folder game game that we made. It was super easy and the kids LOVED playing with the pipe cleaners before we cut them down to make the worms!!!

HOW TO MAKE IT: I found these great printable apples from Hubbard’s Cupbard. You can print the apple patterns from here. Cut them out and use a hole punch to punch the appropriate number of holes in each. (I did 0 through 9.) Glue them to your folder. I grabbed some green pipe cleaners and cut them up to use as the worms. (If you don’t have pipe cleaners, you could use yarn.)

HOW TO PLAY: This is a super simple game to make that works on counting. Count the holes in the apple and then add the appropriate number of worms to each apple.
