Geography From A to Z is one of the awesome books we are using as part of our My Father’s World Exploring Countries and Cultures curriculum. Rather than using the index cards suggested in the curriculum, I decided to copy an idea I saw on Discover Their Gifts. Check out the cute little geography notebooks that Monica’s girls made in her week 1 highlights post!
So, I decided to create printable copywork/illustration pages based on the definitions found in the book. I thought it would be fun for my kids to create a beautiful keepsake geography dictionary…and now your kids can too!
Here are a few samples of my daughters pages so far:
As she completes the pages, she places them in her geography notebook (a 3-ring binder) alphabetically. It is a fun little way to “secretly” add in some practice alphabetizing!
PLEASE NOTE: These printables were designed for use by 2nd and 3rd graders using the My Father’s World Exploring Countries & Cultures curriculum.
