Learn how to make these super easy, NO SEW, doll mittens and ear warmers (or headband). All you really need is an old glove!
When my daughter was young, her dolls became part of our family….literally! Whatever my daughter had, she wanted the same for her dolls. So, naturally, with cold weather, a doll needs mittens and ear warmers just like a little girl! Since we love creative, crafty ideas, we decided to make our own! Here is a quick, easy, no sew tutorial on how to make doll mittens and earmuffs.
All you need to make both the mittens are ear warmers is a regular old knit glove. Yep, that lone glove that was headed for the trash? Save it!
Directions: Cut off two fingers of the glove and then cut off the wristband part.
At this point, you have your doll mittens and ear warmers (which can double as a headband.) The fingers that were cut are the gloves for the doll and the wristband becomes the doll ear warmers.
If you want to embellish the mittens and ear warmers a bit, simply use a hot glue gun to add some snowflake shaped beads for a little bling.
Complete your doll’s winter attire:
-
* Design a knit hat
-
* Crochet some leg warmers
-
* Make a pom-pom scarf, or
-
* Knit an infinity scarf
