My daughter’s doll has become part of our family….literally! Whatever my daughter has, she wants the same for her doll. So, naturally, with the cold weather, a doll needs mittens and ear warmers just like a little girl! Since we love creative, crafty ideas, we decided to make our own! Here is a quick, easy, no sew tutorial on how to make doll mittens and earmuffs.
All you need to make both the mittens are ear warmers is a regular old mitten. Yep, that lone mitten that was headed for the trash? Save it!
Directions: First, cut off two fingers of the mitten and cut off the wristband part. At this point, you have your doll mittens and ear warmer (which can double as a headband.) The fingers that you cut are the gloves and the wristband is the ear warmer.
If you want to embellish them a bit, you can use beads. I simply used a hot glue gun to add some snowflake shaped beads for a little bling.
Now, put them on your doll so that she can stay warm too!

We’ve definitely got to keep those little ears and hands warm and cozy!
Stay tuned for more “stuff” for a doll! We got this super cute doll idea from the book, Things To Make For Your Doll. If you (or your child) enjoys making doll accessories, I would highly recommend that you grab this book from the library!
